Software | Approval to Award

The approval to award the Software License and Maintenance Agreement is an important process to prove to the appropriate authority that the vendor selected has met the criteria set forth in the acquisition strategy and the Request for Proposal (RFP).

1 Document award recommendation 4
Develop documentation that describes the selection criteria, the resulting scores and weighting, and the resulting recommendation for vendor selection and award of the License and Maintenance Agreement to the winning vendor.
2 Present award recommendation 4
Present award recommendation briefing to Steering Committee and/or decision authority.
3 Obtain written approval 4
Upon acceptance of Steering Committee or decision authority, obtain written approval to award the contract to the winning bidder.
4 Continue Defense Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation (DITSCAP) Phase 1 4
Continue with DITSCAP Phase 1 activities.
